The same role pays up to 3–4× more in the US than in the lowest European market, and within the EU there's a ~2× factor between Germany/France and Portugal. A directional map, not a currency conversion
It's not an exact comparison: the US is in USD with a large share of comp in equity/bonus outside base; the EU is EUR gross. Cost of living and pay structure differ by country. Use it to place a range, not to convert currencies.

Why you can trust the map
Each band comes from its country report, with source-per-figure and a public-data or declared-inference (E4) label. We don't convert currencies or normalize for cost of living: each market is shown in its own currency and base.
Leadership and AI Operations Manager figures are declared estimates (no survey measures those titles by name yet in most countries). The observed layer grows with the calculator. Cadence: monthly.
